Why This Blog Exists

 

I started this blog in April 2013 as a way to collect my memories.
I want to keep this through all of the events yet to come, have it grow alongside me -- document marriage, children, everything life still has to offer

I had come to realize that so many (sweet, beautiful, passionate) memories get lost 

as we continue to grow older, and I didn't want that to happen.

I wanted a place where I could put all of my favorite stories, pictures, plans, dreams, fears.

That's where my title comes in -- "Eternal in Black Ink". 

Based off Shakespeare's Sonnet #65, he writes that...

"In black ink my love may still shine bright"

I have always loved writing, always kept a journal for myself,

but I wanted to take the next step and share my story with others,

for I have enjoyed so many others' blogworld stories.
